The Expos 14U Majors finished in the top 4 of 46 teams in the Triple Crown Sports Omaha Slumpbuster, which took place June 16-20 in Omaha NE. The Expos finished 3-1 in pool play, beating teams out of Nebraska, Colorado, and California. They opened bracket play Saturday as the #8 seed in the D1 bracket, beating Bucks Orange (Independence MO) 4-2, and moving on to play the #1 ranked USSSA team in the nation, Millard United Elite, whom they beat 10-1. In Sunday's semifinal game the Expos had a hard-fought battle against Pacesetters 14U, losing 5-4 in extra innings.
